'Spirit Creek' is from a series of photographs, 'Shimmer' taken in Smith's Creek, a tributary of Cowan Creek and the Hawkesbury River, NSW - Dyarubbin. While taking these photographs, I had the sense that I was witnessing an exchange between the two elements of earth and water and in this abstract impressionist image, two shapes are 'head to head' almost as if coming from above and below - the bush and the river.
