Photograph - landscape © Genevieve Ginty 'Gunyah Point' A new day breaks on the Hawkesbury River, NSW, Australia.

Gunyah Point

Gunyah Point is part of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park in Syndey and can only be accessed by water from the Hawkesbury River, NSW, Australia. Foggy mornings provide a great opportunity to take photos on the river as the fog transforms the landscape. In this image, the background of the mainland to the west is almost completely obscured by the fog, allowing the eye to enjoy the splendid form and tones of Gunyah Point.

This Photograph received a commendation in the 2023 Landscape Awards.
